Content Control (8.7)

Ads: 10.0; No ads
Storage Space: 10.0; Unlimited storage space
Visible Content: 6.0; There is a customisable title, but no subtitle. There is no support for Amazon Associates content. There is no built-in webring support. There is no built-in guestbook support. There is support for inserting custom HTML. You can have custom links, and they can be categorised. There is profile and display picture support.

Posts (6.3)

Content: 7.0; Has most basic font features, as well as font colours and a handful of font faces. There is no graphic emoticon support. The HTML code of the post can be edited directly. There is no separate excerpt and body support. You can insert images, and there is image hosting provided, storage space unlimited.
Editing: 7.0; You can edit both the title and body of a post (categories and excerpts are not supported at all). You can delete posts, but there appears to be no undelete feature. You can turn comments on and off both before and after posting.
Accessibility: 5.0; There is no support for categorising a post. There is optional monthly archive support. The number of posts showing on the main page can be changed. There is full-text search in all pages, however it is powered by Google SiteSearch, so unless the pages have been indexed by Google, they won't be found.

Comments (3.3)

Content: 4.0; There is no support for basic font stuff or colours, or for graphic emoticon support. The comment box will support most HTML entered into it, and this is noted by the box, as well as the most commmon tags. There is no support for inserting images into comments. Commentors may leave their name and URL, but not their email address, unless they have a blogger account. Having a blogger account can be made required, otherwise all information is optional. If they have an account their information is stored with the account, otherwise it is not stored.
Management: 2.5; An account is not required to comment. There is no option for SPAM protection, however a blogger account can be made required. The blog owner may not edit comments, but he may delete them. The blog owner cannot block specific users. The post can be seen while commenting if the comment box is set to appear in a popup window. There is no option for commentors to rate the post.

Photo Album (0.0)

There is no photo album support on Blogger.

Syndication (5.5)

Public syndication on Blogger is supported only in Atom 0.3 form. Email syndication to the blog owner is also supported. The Atom feed is well-formed. To get an RSS feed, Blogger suggests, on their site, that you use feedburner. Posts can be syndicated in their entirety, or just the first paragraph may optionally be syndicated. Comments may only be syndicated via email to the blog owner.

Look And Feel (3.8)

General: 5.5; The background colour and/or image are only customisable by theme (but you can create your own theme if you know HTML): likewise for the sidebar colour and font, the header background and font, and the page font. The date format is customisable and you can add custom CSS.
Special: 2.0; There is no way to rename elements, nor can comments be separated into pages. The height and width of the content area can only be changed via custom CSS. There is no built-in support for running music on pages.
