Dark emotions begin to swell inside me

Dark emotions begin to swell inside me.
Drowning in the pieces of myself I hate.
There are two sides to me and they're fighting
All the things I fear I start to contemplate.
The further I run the further I fall.

Every second that passes brings me closer to death
Every moment I slip further and further away
In my final days I waste not a single breath
Before I leave there are things I need to say.
Searching for answers, in the darkness we crawl.

When I look back upon all of my years
When I search through all of my fears
Loneliness in death is now the greatest
I see now how my life was wasted
Take heed youth, listen to the dead.

If answers you seek I have none
There is one who is wise in mind
There is one who is bold in tongue
He holds what you must find.
There is hope in every word he said.

Yet a fool was I, ignorant 'till the end
Hollowness inside me is heard in the wind
For I never let my soul find peace
Forever to be damned in the fire and heat
My words young one, listen to all the wise man said.
